Tasks attributed and relevant prior experience
SJM will participate in the dissemination and exploitation workpackage as they have a number of commercial healthcare products and software. St Jude will participate into CIED related tasks such as CIED based Personalized Adaptive Care Planner Engine, Exposing CIED Data through Standard Interfaces for providing seamless CIED data integration into clinical guidelines, EHRs and PHRs. SJM will provide standards-compliant (HL7 preferred) data sets of ICD data from patients who will take part in the study. Additionally, SJM will provide experts of ICDs to guide researchers in integrating St. Jude Medical remote facilities into the intended iCardea Platform.SJM has developed a product named Merlin.net™ Patient Care Network(PCN) which is an easy-to-use system that allows access to patient device information anywhere an Internet connection is available. Furthermore, SJM has Riata ST defibrillation leads are highly advanced ICD defibrillation leads.
This system will be used to gather CIED input for the iCARDEA Adaptive Care Planner.
