The CRS TXT Division (Corporate Research and Innovation) is in charge of medium-to-long term research activities and is / has recently been active in several collaboration projects at Regional, National and European level concerning six strategic research pillars: Extended Products Identification and Tracking (European projects NMP K-FLOW, CONCLORE STREP and LEAPFROG CA/IP), Enterprise Interoperability (national project SFIDA-PMI, European projects ATHENA IP, INTEROP NoE, ABILITIES STREP, SEEMP STREP), Enterprise Collaboration (national project PROBO, European projects ECOLEAD IP, ECOSPACE IP, E4 STREP, MyTreasury STREP), SOA and GRID Computing (national project SFIDA-PMI, European projects BEINGRID IP, SORMA STREP, CHEMOMENTUM STREP), Software and Service Engineering (European projects MOMOCS and TEAM), Multimedia and Mobile Applications (national projects e-relations Hub and ASINFO, European projects e-TEN WiH and Linkcare, IST Mapped, Isaac, iTacitus, OpenInterface, Wisper).

TXT’s Previous experience relevant to the tasks that have been attributed

TXT is the partner leading the iSURF’s exploitation activities.  By means of its key product suite TXT SC&CM, TXT is a leading supplier of supply chain management and optimization solutions in the Italian and European industry. The 2001 openings of subsidiaries in France, Spain, UK and Germany has improved the European dimension of the company. Being an experienced industry player in supply chain domain, TXT will lead the iSURF exploitation activities, in the Food, Clothing and Media retail sectors in Europe.

TXT will lead the WP7 “iSURF Global Data Synchronization and Transitory CSU” and also strongly involved in WP6 iSURF Service Oriented Supply Chain Planning Environment and where it will lead T6.1 Defining building blocks of iSURF Collaborative Planning Process. TXT has been involved in many research projects for “Extended Products Identification and Tracking”, Enterprise Collaboration, more importantly actively developing Supply Chain Planning and Management Tools as a part of its product portfolio.
