Hospital Clínic de Barcelona is a University Hospital founded at 1906. This center belongs to the Catalan Net of Public Hospitals. By means of almost all medical and surgical specialities, the hospital develops its activity in health care, research and teaching activities, directly or in coordination with other institutions.
IDIBAPS (1996) is a research center coordinated with 3 biomedical centers: Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Faculty of Medicine of University of Barcelona and CSIC Biomedical Research Institute of Barcelona. IDIBAPS main issue is to integrate Clinical Research with high level Basic Research, to obtain a better and faster transfer of scientific progress in prevention and treatment of most relevant health problems in Spain.

Tasks attributed and relevant prior experience
As being one of the clinical opinion leaders in Cardiovascular Domain, HCPB will lead the dissemination of iCARDEA Project. In addition to dissemination task leadership, HCBP will participate into other iCARDEA tasks for clinical guideline model generation for personalized CIED Follow-up, Risk Assessment model construction and CIED data exposure. Furthermore, HCPB will lead Task 7.1 which aims to determine the critical patient parameters to be monitored and analyzed for the personalization of the CIED computer interpretable clinical follow-up guideline models.
